We are Outdoor Albania, a specialized travel agency that organizes trips into Albanian Nature and Culture. We pioneer in responsible tourism in Albania, which means that our tours are nature-friendly and promote the protection of landscapes, bio-habitats, traditions, and monuments.
Outdoor Albania organizes cultural trips and active holidays such as hiking in the Albanian Alps, kayaking, rafting, and snowshoeing. Next to arranging group tours for our foreign partners our focus is to open Albania’s doors to the individual traveler.

We decided to start this blog to inform people about Albania, which is still a little known corner of the Mediterranean.  Furthermore we would like to update people through our blog about outdoor activities and local traveling.

In this blog we will give you insight into the real Albania by telling you about some of the many Albanian legends, ancient traditions, and where to find hidden churches or other interesting places.  Stories about outdoor experiences, local traveling, and tips for the individual traveler will be shared as well.
Not all blog articles will be written by the Outdoor Albania Team, we will also republish interesting articles written by others and invite people to write about their experiences.
